Clayton, US based company that builds houses, announced its new augmented reality application called Home Previewer on 10th of July 2017. The application has been built with the partnership of Made, which is a creative studio based in Boulder.
Through the application, people get a chance to envision their future house with the help of AR technologies. With Home Previewer, which is ready to get from Apple Store with no charge, users may visualize how a house might be looked in 3D.
Kevin Clayton, who is the establisher of Clayton Homes, reported on their official website that they are glad to include AR technologies in the digital home buying industry. Clayton added their purpose is to support people in their home building experience by using the innovative technologies.
The Home Previewer AR application helps people digitally create a house selecting one of the house models available in the app to the future home location with the help of AR. After creating the imaginary house, app users can examine the house from different parts in the 3D rendered picture. Users may take a picture of the visualized house and then showcase them to their family members.
Clayton Homes plan to include additional features to the application during coming years. By creating the application Clayton intends to relieve house purchasing experience by making it more personalized. At the end of his speech, Clayton added that each person should have a chance to get a wonderful and affordable house, and with their app consumers can make the right decision.
Clayton has built another application called MyMobi Home Finder back in 2015. The application gives people information about houses, their price and about big sales, so app owners can select which house to visit personally.
