Nielsen Releases New Data on VR/AR Appeal with Gamers
Nielsen, one of the largest research companies in the world, released new data today disclosing the rising appeal of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) experiences and devices with gamers with their latest news post. Some key factoids included as part of today’s post include:
- Overall awareness of major VR devices with general consumers and gamers
- VR/AR purchase intent between consumers and video game players
- Demographics on those intending to purchase a VR/AR device
