Samsung VR partners with UFC, Live Nation and X Games

Samsung has made know about new VR cooperation “VR Live Pass” with 3 renowned companies: UFC, Live Nation and X Games. The SSNLF’s new cooperation with these firms will enable Gear VR users to watch stream-broadcasts of their beloved sport- performances and music-events from anywhere.

Samsung has also pleased to announce that it has enlarged its existence in more than 45 countries, giving more and more customers a lucky chance to have fun with Gear VR.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship, which is concentrated on Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), is the world’s largest MMA-support. When speaking about the recent partnership, the COO of the UFC Ike Lawrence Epstein has mentioned, that they have always felt the joint work with VR has a big potential and it will give the UFC fans a huge experience.

In addition, the executive head of Samsung Ltd Younghee Lee said that the cooperation with these firms contributes to expand Samsung’s VR platform, giving its fans new chances.

The live-streaming will introduce a number of live-programs, including the UFC® 212: ALDO vs. HOLLOWAY fight in Rio de Janeiro, on the 3rd of June 3, 2017. The next broadcast is the X Games Minneapolis in USA, 13-16 of July 2017, during which users will have a freedom to watch the best BMX skaters and riders. And with Live Nation, the world’s largest live-event company, users will watch the Live Music Concert with International Artist in the the USA, August 2017.

The VR Live Pass will be applicable on Gear VR through the app of SamsungVR in the beginning of June 2017. The content for Gear VR enjoyers will be applicable for free.
