On 3rd of July Elon Musk, who is the founder of Tesla, American automaker company, reported on his Twitter account that Model 3 will be delivered on the 28th of July 2017. Elon Musk tweeted that 3 consumers will get their Tesla during handover party taking place on 28th of July.
Jelmer Verhoog, who is a UX designer and 3D developer demonstrated its AR application on its Twitter account. He utilized Apple’s newly released ARKit tools for his AR app which looks impressive. Verhoog can easily modify the 3D version of Model 3 and even turn on the headlights. Check out the Model 3 AR demonstration video below:

These modifications are limited to the colors only and those who are interested in purchasing Model 3 can change the colors and wheel type, which are the only features available for buyers to customize. According to Electrek, a company that delivers financial and technical reviews, Verhoog said that he would like to produce a version of the app for iOS 11 but the app would live shortly as Tesla is going produce configurable Model 3 at the end of July 2017.
Many developers use AR, such as Minecraft, SpaceX Falcon 9 landing to show the power of this technology. Another developer has used ARKit by demonstrating how Falcon 9 rocket comes back from the space and lands on the swimming pool which looks realistically. Developers try to play with ARKit and represent their interesting demos and AR tricks.
